Who we are
Warp Studios is a design studio based in Haywards Heath, West Sussex. We decide how the details on this page are used, so we're responsible for them. Questions about your data go to hello@warpstudios.co.uk.
What we collect
Mostly what you send us. When you use the contact form, email, call or message us on WhatsApp, that's your name, business name, email address, phone number, what you're interested in and your message. If you become a client, we also keep what we need to run your plan: your contact details, billing records and what you've asked us to do.
This website sets no cookies and doesn't track you. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or identify you. Our fonts are hosted here, so nothing is loaded from Google.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and quote for the work. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who get in touch.
- To provide your plan if you become a client. The legal basis is our contract with you.
- To keep tax and accounting records. The legal basis is our legal obligation.
- To count visits to this website, so we know it's working (Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a website that works.
We don't add you to a mailing list, sell your details or use them for anything else.
Who sees it
Just us, plus the services that carry it: our email provider, our web host, WhatsApp if you message us there, and, for clients, our payment and accounting providers. Each one only handles your details to provide their service to us. Where any of them stores data outside the UK, it's covered by safeguards approved under UK law.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't go further are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for six years after you leave, because UK tax rules require it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or send it to you or someone else in a usable format. You can also object to us using it. Email hello@warpstudios.co.uk and we'll reply within one month.
Your customers' data
If we run a website or shop for you, the enquiries and orders it collects belong to you, and we handle them only on your behalf. Our terms cover how.
Changes
If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top.
